fortiphi is the app everyone needs to connect, control and protect the technology at home that supports their increasingly busy, digitally-driven lives. Technology is a tidal wave, and fortiphi enables consumers to enjoy riding that wave instead of get crushed by it. fortiphi is simple and vital.

fortiphi enables consumers to confidently answer "yes" to three simple and critical questions anytime using their iOS phone or tablet:

(1) Whats connected to my home right now?
(2) Can I control what Im connected to right now?
(3) Am I better protected from unauthorized devices right now?

The free fortiphi version is a limited test-drive of fortiphi with home automation features that work specifically with Nest and Hue devices only. Users can see all the simple navigation and feature sets in the free version that are available in the premium upgrade version, but they arent activated until user subscribes to premium upgrade fortiphi version.

The premium version requires an upgrade subscription and provides complete functionality of the connect, control, and protect features, in addition to the home automation features in the free version.

The premium 1 month subscription is Auto-renewing until canceled by user, with price of 9.99$.

Connect/Premium Version. The user can begin by seeing a list of all devices on the users home network (router), and then choose to connect or disconnect to any listed device. The user can re-name the devices as well.

Control/Premium Version. The user can control the use of each device using Time Limits and control the content available to users by applying Filters to any device.

Protect/Premium Version. If an unauthorized device accesses the users network, fortiphi will immediately quarantine the device and send a notification message to the user alerting them to the quarantine and asking them if they wish to release the quarantine immediately or retain the quarantine until further notice. Additionally, a device can be proactively quarantined by the fortiphi owner/administrator any time (e.g. the computer a student is playing Halo on during a school night at 3:00 a.m. can be quarantined to encourage rest...quarantine can be released anytime).

Home Automation/Free & Premium Versions. Users can connect and automate integrated fortiphi devices, which at launch include Nest (thermostat, air quality, camera) and Hue (lighting). fortiphi will expand the portfolio of home automation devices over time.

Router Compatibility & Corresponding Promotions. When a user downloads the free fortiphi app, they receive a notice confirming it is compatible for the premium upgrade or telling them it is not compatible for the premium upgrade; if the router is not compatible with their existing router, the user can either buy a compatible dd-wrt router independently, or the user can participate in an annual premium subscription promotion that includes a new fortiphi compatible router and 12 months of service for the price of 10 months of service.
